Mr. Loest makes four kinds of appearances: 1) Honor Band, 2) Guest Conducting, 3) Commission Premier, and 4) Educational Clinic. Whether appearing locally or across country, Mr. Loest brings a straightforward rehearsal plan, clear conducting skills, and inspiring motivational strategies that reach the musician in memorable ways. As Bethany, a Georgia band student stated after a recent festival:
