Commissioning a work can be one of the most artistically enriching experiences for your school, community, or organization. While music is often commissioned for a specific purpose or event (anniversary, dedication, memorial), many groups commission a work for the purpose of engaging students in the creation of something new.
With over 25 years of teaching, conducting, and composing experience, Mr. Loest is thoroughly familiar with the playing capabilities of band musicians. As a result, his unique works possess an accessibility that leads to successful performances, as well as widespread appeal.
An exclusive composer and arranger, Mr. Loest submits all commissioned works to FJH for publication. Works accepted for publication proudly display a dedication to the commissioning party on the title page of the conductor score. For information regarding commissioned works, please contact Mr. Loest.
